Concept and Schematic Design
A site meeting is organized to discuss your initial conceptual ideas, budget and any particular requests you might have that will have an effect on the design. From here we look at the site and possible material types. We use modern technology combined with the traditional processes of design to quickly look at the possibilities of your site and your brief. A concept design includes a site analysis, site plan, floor plan, and 3D images of the interior and exterior to help you visualize the end result. At this point you may like to contact your chosen builder to discuss preliminary costs.
Once the design has been agreed on between the designer and client, a detailed set of drawings are produced which will be ready for structural engineering. The client may wish to make some final changes before having the plans engineered.
Any final changes to the drawings are made by the structural engineer and the drawings are then stamped and ready to be submitted to the building certifier for council approval.
